Anthropic rewrote its own rules. The most repeated advice of 2025 now says the opposite.
The reference page left anthropic.com/engineering for code.claude.com/docs, and the text changed with it. “More context, more intelligence” has become its own contrary: the context window fills fast, and the model degrades as it fills. Six of the seven founding tips survive, reworded. One was turned on its head. Everything else follows from that single constraint.
